Kennedy Album
Check out Kelly & Breena's Wedding Album!
Cassie had her bridals scheduled for last Saturday and wouldn't you know it. It rained....so she elected to use the Utah State Capital. Since the capital was remodeled, it is getting alot more use from photographers.

We returned from Jamaica with some fantastic wedding images of Danielle & Josh's Wedding. Summer & I took almost 3000 images so its going to take me a little time to work through them. In the meantime, I picked out some of my favorites to share. I hope everyone likes them.

Here are some images of the Hilton at Montego Bay.

A little topless sunbathing on the beach... WOO HOO!!!

Today, we went on a rafting trip thru a small river called Martha Brea with the entire Wedding Party...about 37 people. The locals drift us down stream, and along the banks there are all of these small tourist traps. Locals set up and sell BEER, soft drinks and other items. The Brides mother PJ bought me a Harley Davidson Beach Towel because they know of my love for the Harley Davidson Motorcycle, she is such a sweet lady. We all had a great time! Check out these images.

Here is one of the local huts which sold beer, soft drinks and other items.

Check out their boat dock..........

And here is where Danielle's mom PJ, bought the HD towel for me. That was so kind of her, I love it! Thanks again PJ :)

The lovely Bride and Groom to be

These Bowls are hand carved by the locals. Pretty impressive isn't it?

So we get into DFW airport at 9:30... board our plane at 10... leave the gate at 10:30... then it takes another 45 minutes to taxi to the runway. Planes are backed up because of high winds, and just as it becomes our turn to take off, another plane behind us notices we have a access hatch open on the rear of the plane. Now we have to taxi back to the gate to get the hatch put back in place. This process takes over 3 hours... while we wait on the plane!! Finally we take off. It's not a good way to start a flight, it did NOT make me feel warm and fuzzy. Alas, we have arrived in Jamaica! I am really looking forward to Danielle & Josh's wedding on Saturday, it is absolutely breath taking here! Stay tuned for the shots!

I attended the Thanksgiving Point Bridal Show last Friday & Saturday, and I would like to thank all the brides who stopped by our booth and spoke with us. I had a fantastic time and I am looking forward to all of the upcoming weddings! So stay tuned, I am leaving for Jamaica on Thursday. We will be shooting the wedding for Danielle Steele and Josh Zingler, this is going to be an awesome wedding with some spectacular photos!
On Valentines day, we went to the Point to photograph the awesome wedding of Brenna Shannon & Kelly Kennedy. Here are some of my favorites... check out the flower girl, Sophia. She is adorable!

Danielle & Josh's engagements were photographed at Westminister College. They met here a few years ago, fell in iove and wanted to come back to where they met. Their upcoming wedding is going to be in Jamaica! It's going to be stunning with the beach setting, I can hardly wait!

For Breanna's bridals, we went to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Her first bridals were in October, and she wanted to have some shot inside the JSMB as well. I picked out some of my favorites. Look for Brenna's wedding on Valentines Day, we are going to be up at the Point.
Also check out her gown... it's a Mary's Bridal Gown. The girls at Mary's Bridal are just awesome!

Hi Everyone! We will be at the La Caille Bridal Show on Saturday, January 24th. So drop by and see us!
Phoenix was a blast! We stayed at the Carefree Resort & Villa, they were pretty upscale and very nice! I attended the Professional Photographers Association's Imaging USA, and also the DWF's Convention. Both of which are made up of Professional Wedding & Portrait Photographers. The seminars which they present, I believe help me further my art and enable me to provide a better quality product to my clients. In my opinion one of the things which separate the Professionals from the amature's is their continuing education. I see alot of people come along and buy a $600 camera and think they can shoot a wedding. Anyone can pick up a camera and take several pictures, that does not however instantly make you a professional photographer. If all you want is some snap shots of your wedding day, then that is probably going to work. I, on the other hand srtive for far more than that.
I firmly believe photographing a wedding is an honor, this is a once in a lifetime occasion. I am not just their photographer, but I am a guest at this awesome event. This is NOT something I take lightly. I seek out knowledgable people to help me learn and excel at my craft. Like I said, anyone can pick up a camera. But only those with a true passion for photography shine above the rest, I take great pride in what I do. As they say, pictures are worth a thousand words.... I hope that people can feel what I feel when they see my work.
We are now in Vegas to spend some much needed quality family time. My son is learning more and more each day, and I truly enjoy watching him grow. This is our first offical family trip of the year, I am really looking forward to a few more :)
We will be a the La Caille Bridal Show on the 24th of January, come by and say HI.

And check this out.....we found this cool Pizza & Sandwich shop.

We met a lot of great brides at the Bridal Showcase and booked some fantastic weddings! You're going to love seeing our blog in a few months, when we highlight the weddings. Summer was able to hang out with Pepper Nix, and it seems they became friends fast! Which could only mean one thing for me... TROUBLE :) Pepper is a great person and photographer, check out her work at www.peppernix.com . After finishing the show, we packed up and headed to Phoenix for the Professional Photographers Association show. We are going to be here through Thursday, and then its off to Las Vegas for a couple of days.
We have been enjoying the 70 degree weather in Phoenix. It's been so nice to get out of the snow for awhile, the sunsets here are awesome! The information the classes are providing are very beneficial, I'm looking forward to applying some new techniques I've learned. So other than this horrible cold I've been fighting off all week, we are having a lot of fun!
P.S. In case you are wondering what my wife is doing in the picture below, she just wanted to show off her wedding ring, hahaha.
